“Any awards scheme has to evolve in a way that it will cater to the current requirements of the business community and we have to incorporate new features as and when we see the need for such change and many changes would be made to the new model that would come to place from 2013 onwards. We place a lot of emphasis on corporate social and environmental sustainability which we have incorporated into the new model,” Wijesinha added.

NBEA is an unique national awards scheme as it evaluates the overall performance of a company and selects the cream of the cream of business in the country for awards. NBEA throughout the last 9 years, had gained high reputation and recognition among the business community due to its high standard and professionalism.
