Four Lankan junior football players for Germany and Thailand

Allianz Insurance Lanka Limited will sponsor four Lankan junior
football players to participate in two separate foreign football camps
in the near future. Allianz, being a global leader in the insurance
field, will be hosting the fifth International Allianz Global Junior
Football Camp in Munich, Germany in August this year.
Two school children aged between 14-16, have been selected for the
German tour while other two teenagers of the same age category, have
been chosen for the Thailand tour from the islandwide selection
programme held recently.
Roshein Subash of Holy Cross College, Kalutara and Isuru Weerasinghe
of Badulla Central College will join the six-day Allianz Junior Football
Camp in Munich, Germany from August 7 to 12 and Ranju Silva of De
Mazanod College, Kandana and A Afrar from Jamaliya Central College,
Trincomalee will attend the three-day Asian Junior Football Camp to be
held in Phuket, Thailand from June 28 to 30.
Allianz Insurance Lanka Limited Assistant General Manager (Marketing
Management) Saliya Weerakoon said: “We are planning to sponsor Sri Lanka
Paralympics athletes in the future as Allianze golobal company had
sponsored the Paralympics Games in the past.” |
