Pretenders sell minister's name
Some individuals who pretended as Public Relations and Public Affairs
Minister Mervin Silva's friends have been engaged in anti-social
activities.
Minister Silva said he was convinced through the media that faked
friends have used his name to protect themselves and escape from law
enforcement authorities after committing illegal activities.
"If any individual is cheated or influenced by any person, I request
him or her to inform about it without fear or suspicion to either the
nearest police station or myself at my office at No 302, Galle Road,
Colombo 4 on Mondays," the minister said.
"I have never appointed any individual to be my substitute in my
absence", he said. |
