Sampath Bank installs ATMs on Southern Expressway
Sampath Bank, commissioned two new ATMs at Welipenna service areas A
and B on the Southern Expressway recently.

ATMs in the expressway is seen a great initiative that will serve
thousands of people using the road network each day.
The two new ATMs have been installed facing each other in independent
locations (off-site ATMs) on the way to Galle and way back to Colombo.
Maintained by the Road Development Authority, the Southern Expressway is
Sri Lanka's first E Class highway.
The ATMs operational 24 hours, will facilitate Sampath Bank clientele
and in addition any card holder carrying Union Bank, NSB, BOC, HNB, PABC
, HDFC, DFCC Vardhana, NTB, MCB, LB Finance, NDB, Master Card or VISA
cards could also use these ATMs for their transactions. ATMs are a
popular way for people in the country to access their cash, and Sampath
Bank intends to expand its ATM network further and claims 270 own ATMs
and total of 1,750 networked ATMs island wide.
Sampath Bank, a public limited liability company, is the third
largest private sector commercial bank in the country. It caters to a
wide array of customers facilitating management of personal finances
through a range of products. |
