T B Jayah Junior Vidyalaya Principal retires

Teaching is a noble profession. I had great pleasure and satisfaction
in my profession, said Addalaichenai T B Jayah Junior Vidyalaya outgoing
Principal M A Jabbar said on his retirement from public service after 40
years. A felicitation ceremony in this regard was presided by School
Development Society Secretary M H Fowz.
Jabbar was gifted a memento and honoured with a golden shawl. He said
he served in several schools in the Anuradapura and Polonnaruwa
Districts and also in Akkaraipattu. The experience gained over the years
can not be forgotten, he said.
Jabbar said he was serving at Oluvil Al Hambra Maha Vidyalaya as a
Principal came to T B Jayah Junior Vidyalaya to improve the school
physically and academically. He thanked all those who helped to develop
the school.
He added that during his period the number of students seeking
admission has considerably increased and the shortage of staff was
rectified. He also thanked Eastern Provincial Road Development Minister
M S Udumalebbe, Zonal Director of Education A L M Cassim, Accountant K
Rizvi Yehzar, chairman and members of the RDS Division No 3, The Hero
Sports Club, teachers and parents for their cooperation in managing the
school.
