Hemas Hospital opens at Thalawathugoda

The newly built Hemas Hospitals at Thalawathugoda was opened
yesterday by President Mahinda Rajapaksa. With an investment of Rs 1.4
billion, the new facility is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities
which include modern operating theaters, delivery rooms with neo-natal
care, an Intensive Care Unit, 24 hour emergency care unit and a high
tech 24-hour laboratory.
Hemas Hospitals Thalawathugoda will have the capability to treat
thousands of patients a year. Speaking of the opportunities that the new
hospital will offer, Murtaza Esufally, Chairman Hemas Hospitals said he
was confident that the hospital will play a key role in making a
positive impact in enhancing healthcare services in Sri Lanka.
