Cattle transporter apprehended

Acting on information received by the STF officers attached to Badulla camp a suspect was arrested with a herd of 10 cattle transporting them in a lorry in Passara on the same day. He was handed to Passara Police.

In Talawakele, the STF arrested four suspects for possessing 200 kgs of beef without a valid permit. A lorry used to transport the stock of meat was also seized. Agarapthana Police are investigating.
