Going Italian this Father’s Day
Father’s Day which falls on June 16 focuses on celebrating the
contribution that all Fathers make for their children's lives.
The Bay Leaf restaurant set in an over 100 year old colonial mansion
sets the perfect setting to celebrate this special day with one’s Father
and family. Chef Saroj needless to say has presented a special Italian
menu including fresh salmon, Porterhouse steak, chicken and pork dishes
to entice any Dad to enjoy a special menu in this elegant yet relaxed
setting.
The menu offers Involtini di Salmone con Dentice (Fillet of red
snapper and fresh salmon rolled with king prawns and served with pesto
and Tomato coulis), Bistecca alla Griglia (grilled porterhouse steak
with grilled vegetable tower), Pollo con spincahi (Pan fried chicken
breast stuffed with spinach and mozzarella and served with reduction of
red wine) and Costolette di Maiale (Marinated pork chop stuffed with
apple and cranberry, served with mustard honey sauce).
There is a selection of popular desserts, including Italian specials
to end a fine meal. The Retro bar offers a fine selection of wines and
spirits to enjoy with the meal.
For a special group celebration on Father’s Day, The Bayleaf offers
four private dining rooms accommodating up to 20 pax. |
