Go graceful!

Grace, grandeur and beauty are the key words that one would use to describe Colombo Jewellery Stores’ Perpetual Grace Collection which was unveiled at their Alfred House Gardens, Colombo 3, branch recently.

The stunning jewellery collection was launched by CJS brand ambassador former Miss Sri Lanka and Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez. Donning an amazing pair of emerald, pearl and diamond chandelier earrings set with 30 carats of emeralds and 7.5 carats of diamonds, Jacqueline’s set comprises both gold and white gold. The range also includes white bakelite and diamond earrings, bracelets and rings and has been inspired by CJS Chairman Akram Cassim’s passion for horses.

“The Perpetual Grace collection epitomises radiance and timeless elegance. An element of fun and excitement is portrayed in a collection of coloured stone jewellery,” he explained on what their latest jewellery collection stands for.

“It is more feminine, bigger and symbolizes everything I love about jewellery. The earrings I am sporting are huge but are not the least bit heavy,” Jackie said. She added that she is not a person who follows trends but goes for items which she is comfortable with.

“The jewellery are so wearable and extremely glamorous. I love earrings since they are dainty. My favourite jewellery piece is a pearl ring that was presented to me by Cassim some time back,” she noted with a smile.

Celebrated award winning glam entrepreneur Otara Gunewardena joined hands with CJS in 2009 to launch her jewellery collection ‘Otara’. She presented Jackie with the first pieces from the new collection ‘Hoola’.

“The pieces are classic, cool and elegant and are designed in a manner to stand apart from other collections,” Otara explained the key features of the ‘Hoola’ range.
