POWER Sri Lanka 2013 Expo during June 13-15

The 11th POWER Sri Lanka 2013 International Expo, a Comprehensive Premier International Exhibition on Power Generation and Transmission, PV Power, Energy and Renewable Energy exhibition will be held during June 13 to 15 at Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre (SLECC), Colombo.

General Manager, Orange Electric, Prashanth Hettiarachchi, General Manager Orange Electric and Gaye Upasena, Managing Director Power Lanka Pvt Ltd. Co-partners of the exhibition.

In addition Renewable Energy Sri Lanka 2013 International Expo, Solar Sri Lanka 2013 Expo and E-Power Sri Lanka 2013 International Expo, focusing on Electric Power Equipment and Technology too would be held during the same period.

This exhibition will open doors for many stakeholders and investors in the Power & Energy Industry under one B2B platform and a significant leap can be taken in Sri Lanka's Power and Energy sector. Last year's 'POWER series of exhibitions’ drew close 2,500 trade visitors, and this year they expect more than 4,000 visitors including the general public. The Expo will open for visitors from 10 am to 6.30 pm daily.

“This year there would be products and services mainly to reduce electricity tariff for the households as well.” The co Sponsor for this event is Power Lanka Pvt. Limited in association with Orange Electric which is signing up for the first time.

“For the first time we will also show case a domestic usage low cost solar power generated product for a price of Rs. 50,000, with a three year warranty battery. With this product, consumers will be able to light 6 LED bulbs in their households,” said Prashanth Hettiarachchi, General Manager; Orange Electrics.

“This new product will come to the market, in two months.”In addition Power Lanka and Orange Electric, another six local power sector companies would showcase their products while 10 to 15 companies from China along with other companies from India, Netherlands and Taiwan too would participate.Conference & Exhibition Management Services Ltd, (CEMS) -Global's 'POWER Series of Exhibitions’ is an International branded series focused in South and South-East Asia and is held annually in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
