Australia funds water supply project

The Australian government has provided a sum of Rs 2,000 million to solve the water supply problem encountered by people resident in 42 Grama Niladhari Divisions in the Rideemaliyadda Divisional Secretariat Division, Uva Provincial Minister Anura Vidanagamage said.

He also said electricity supplies have already been provided to nearly 95 percent of households in the 75 Grama Niladhari Divisions in Mahiyangana.
