Ceylinco Investments and Realty renamed as The Standard Credit Finance Limited

Entrust Limited was appointed by Central Bank of Sri Lanka as the Managing agent of The Standard Credit Finance Limited (TSCFL).

TSCFL was incorporated on July 14, 1969 and was formally known as Panadura Finance & Enterprises Ltd. Subsequently the management was taken over by the Ceylinco Group and renamed as Ceylinco Investments & Realty Ltd.

on the 25th of November 2003. It was re-named as The Standard Credit Lanka Ltd on 22nd January 2010. Entrust group undertook the management of the Company and implemented the restructuring plan approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka to ensure the continuity of the business operations of company and also to safeguard the interests of the Depositors after the crisis that was faced by the company.

SCLL is also a Licensed Finance Company (LFC) with the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

The principal lines of business of the company include Finance Leasing, Hire Purchase, Security Loans, Personal Loans & Land Easy Payments and acceptance of Fixed Deposits from public. Being one of the distressed companies under the Ceylinco Group the company's management was initially handed over to Lankaputhra Development Bank, who was appointed as the Managing Agent by the Monetary Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka on 28th March 2009.

Subsequently Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka took over as the Managing agent in September 2009. Thereafter Monetary Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka decided to appoint Entrust Limited as the Managing Agent on 1st of April 2011. Entrust group undertook the management of the Company and implemented the restructuring plan approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka to ensure the continuity of the business operations and also to safeguard the interests of the Depositors.
