Untimely death of Panadura Royal cricketer

The Vice Captain of the first eleven cricket team of Royal College, Panadura Ashan Padmakumara died under tragic circumstances. He is an all-round cricketer who represented his Alma-Mater at cricket in the age groups of under 13, 15, 17 and this year he was appointed as the Vice Captain of the under 19 team.

His remains lie at 'Samagi Niwasa', Walgama, Bandaragama and the cortege leaves residence at 4 pm for burial at the public cemetery, Bandaragama on May 24, 2013.
