Three wheelers told to abide by rules

The Jaffna Municipality has imposed restrictions on three wheelers. They have been ordered to register their vehicles at the Three wheelers Association. They should stick their membership number on their vehicle.

The three wheelers should be parked at the approved parking place. All three wheelers should carry a meter and the passengers should charged according to the readings of the meter.

All three wheeler drivers should wear a uniform. These rules and regulations will come into force from May 10, Jaffna Mayor said.
