Woman returning from hospital knocked down by train

A woman returning home after a blood test from hospital, died when she was knocked down by a train.

The woman was knocked down by the Vavuniya bound express train from Matara while crossing the rail track at Minuwangoda, Galle on Saturday morning. The victim was identified as M. A. Neetha, 56, of Bogahagoda in Akmeemana, Galle.
