ADB commends Lanka's post conflict progress
Asian Development Bank (ADB) officials and SAARC ministers commended
Sri Lanka for the progress made in development projects following the
conflict.
They made this commendation when they met International Monetary
Cooperation Senior Minister and Finance and Planning Deputy Minister Dr.
Sarath Amunugama who represented the
government at the 46th conference of the ADB in New Delhi, India from
May 2 to 5.
Minister Amunugama held discussion with SAAARC Finance Ministers
regarding matters pertaining to these countries.
The minister also held discussions with ADB heads on matters
affecting the countries in the region.
He also exchanged views about loans granted to Sri Lanka and
development programmes in the country.
The minister returned to the island last night. |
