Best O/L students get Singer computers

President Mahinda Rajapaksa felicitated students who achieved the top ten results at the GCE Ordinary Level Examination held in 2012, at Temple Trees.

A total of eleven children, eight females and three males were gifted with the latest model of Singer Notebook computers powered by INTEL Core i3 processors.

The Singer X series computers were installed with licensed Microsoft Windows 8 software, thus helping these students to use the very latest software. It was noteworthy that Singer X Series Notebook and all-in-one computers have gained leadership among Sri Lankan households and accounted for over 22.5% of all Notebooks shipped to Sri Lanka in the fourth quarter of 2012 as per IDC, Singapore.

A Singer spokesman attributed this success to the onsite after sales service, easy payment, island wide distribution and successful marketing strategies adopted by the company.
