The Social and Recreational Committee of the Moors Islamic Cultural Home (MICH) organised MJM Lafir Billiards and Snooker Championship awards ceremony was held at the MICH Billiard Parlour, Pasha Villa, Dematagoda , Colombo recently.

Experienced Susantha Boteju from YMCA bagged the snooker title while Abdul Sathar of Moors Sports Club won the billiard championship. Justice Minister Rauff Hakeem was the chief guest at the award ceremony.

President of the Sri Lanka Billiard and Snooker Association Shafeek Rajabdeen, MICH President Omar Kamil and Social Recreation Committee Chairman Fareen Ghouse were distributed certificates and awards to runners up and winners of the tournament. Parliamentarian A.H.M. Azwer is also present.
