Youth on bail after twin robberies rearrested
A youth released on bail in a case of twin
robberies was re-arrested by Ingiriya Police for another robbery in
Ingiriya, Nambapana. The suspect aged 19, is a resident of
Nambapana. Two cases were pending against the suspect before the
Horana Magistrate’s Court.

Missing grade two student found dead
A seven-year-old boy from Kegalle who failed to
return home after school, was found dead inside a house in Kegalle
on Tuesday night by the Police. Wahampurage Pushpakumara of
Udakaradupana was a grade two student of Kegalle Walagamba mixed
school.

Thirty Maldivians follow VIP protection training course in Lanka
The Special Task Force (STF) of Sri Lanka Police
conducted a special training course for Maldivian Police personnel
on VIP protection. Thirty Maldivian Police Officers including two
female officers who followed the VIP protection training course,
passed out at the STF Training School in Katukurunda, Kalutara.
