Trump eases through at Crucible
Former finalist Judd Trump eased through to the second round of the
snooker World Championship on Wednesday after finishing off Welshman
Dominic Dale at the Crucible.
Englishman Trump, 23, never looked in danger of joining the big names
who have already been knocked out of this year's tournament as he
produced breaks of 104, 73 and 61 to seal a 10-5 win after starting the
morning session with a 6-3 overnight lead. “It was good. I felt really
comfortable out there, relaxed and with no pressure. I think it showed
in how I played,” said Trump, who lost to John Higgins in the 2011
final.
