Missing grade two student found dead

A seven-year-old boy from Kegalle who failed to return home after school, was found dead inside a house in Kegalle on Tuesday night by the Police. Wahampurage Pushpakumara of Udakaradupana was a grade two student of Kegalle Walagamba mixed school.

He had attended school on Tuesday morning and did not return home even by evening, when his father father lodged a complaint at the Kegalle Police. The Police who launched a search operation, found the boy dead in his school uniform in a kitchen in an abandoned house in Nilmalgoedawatte. Kegalle Police are investigating.
