Anura Rohana makes amends to forge ahead
Richard Dwight
This is indeed a rare opportunity for both the competing professional
golfers as well as those of the Sri Lankan golfing fraternity to have
the RCGC be the venue for this Professional Golf Tour of India. It was
interesting to be absorbing to witness the professional golfers from
abroad along with a few Sri Lankan golfers pitting their might for
golfing supremacy.

The professional conquest began on Tuesday where round one was worked
off and continued yesterday where round two was played.
If round one proved miserable for Sri Lankan, Anura Rohana where he
was far from being himself, to be out of form and end up low down in
position on the leader board. But yesterday playing in round two, Rohana
was fully transformed to being his usual self. He drove strongly to
cover ground and on the green he putted meticulously to be precise to
win the hole and ended up with a score of 10 under par 61 and he is
leading the rest. Close behind is the Indians Rashid Khan and Kapil
Kumar.
