ISMM elects new President

The Institute of Supply and Materials Management conducted its Technical Sessions and AGM on March 30, 2013 at the OPA Auditorium. The Technical Sessions consisted of two lectures.

Aruna Jayalal Kooragamage, President, Project Management Institute, Colombo Chapter, Sri Lanka delivered a lecture on “Project Managers Role in Project Procurement Management” and Sampath Aluthpatabandige, Managing Director, 4S International Academy (Pvt) Ltd. delivered a lecture on “The Myths about the Team Work and its reality”.

The Chief Guest was Chandresa Abhayaratne, Chairman of Fentons Limited. The Technical Sessions was followed by the Annual General Meeting where Anil Ponweera who was elected President for 2013/2014 unanimously by the outgoing Council of Management was officially sworn in as the new President by the outgoing President Danesha Perera.
