Shotokan Karate tourney conducted at Kalutara

Sri Lanka Shotokan All Island Open ‘Kata’ Karate Contest was held on
March 26, 2013 at the Kalutara Town Hall and more than (600) six hundred
boys and girls participated in this event from all parts of the Island.

This event was organized by the Kalutara Sana Fitness and Kata Karate
Association Chairman Sanath Sanjeewa Thambawita and the Chief Instructor
Black Belt 6th Dan Antony Master under the guidance of the Kata Karate
Federation.
The Kalutara Golden Jubilee Lions Club Governor Dr Upali Jayawardena
(MJF) was the Chief Guest at the final session of the Programme and
awarded the Certificates and the medals to the winners.
The final was judged by the Kata Karate Federation Judges and they
did a commendable job for this contest. |
