Thenuka bowls Panadura Royal to win

Royal College, Panadura skipper Thenuka Dananjaya with a superb bowling performance of a match bag of 11 for 69 helped Kalutara PCC to defeat Moratuwa Sports Club by six wickets in their inter-club division one Sara Trophy tournament cricket match concluded at Tyronne Fernando Stadium, Moratuwa.

Visitors who were reeling by 25 runs on first innings bounced back to register their second outright win in the tournament.In reply to Moratuwites total of 168 visitors were bowled out for a paltry 143 with Dinesh Senevirathne claiming 4 for 38. In their second essay homesters collapsed for 85 runs leaving an easy target of 111 runs for an outright win where Kalutara PCC notched up the required score with ease.
