Indian fishermen arrested

Twenty six South Indian fishermen were arrested by the Navy and Coast guards while they were fishing in Sri Lanka's territorial waters.

They were produced before the Kayts acting magistrate and remanded for two weeks. The Acting Magistrate ordered the five trawlers and nets to be produced in court on April 11.
