Royal-Panadura into final beating Mahanama

Royal College, Panadura entered the final of all island under 17 division one cricket tournament 2013 when they trounced formidable Mahanama College, Colombo by 83 runs at Thurstan College grounds, Colombo and now they will meet Ananda College, Colombo in the final on April 8 at the same venue.

Electing to bat Panadura lads scored 171 runs with a first wicket partnership of 79 runs between Madava Nimesh 47 and Damindu Ashan 27 followed by a valuable contribution of 40 runs by Saman Madurajith. Dulanjana Senevirathne and Praneeth Satharasinghe claimed 3 for 13 and 3 for 35 respectively. In their turn Mahanama skittled out for a paltry 88 runs with Kalana Chathuranga capturing 3 for 16.
