Man nabbed with cannabis

Dambulla Police arrested a 28- year- old suspect, a resident of Diyabeduma with 2.810 kilos of cannabis in Dambulla.

He was produced before the Dambulla Magistrate's Court yesterday.

Meanwhile, police seek public assistance to identify a man who died at Kalubowila Hospital while receiving treatment after being knocked down by a train plying from Colombo to Panadura near the Wellawatte railway station on Tuesday. The 5'6" tall and bald man, appears to be around 68 years.

Investigations are continuing.
