House robbed in Kokkavila

Chilaw Police are inquiring into a complaint made by K. V. Don Kithsiri Kariyawasam, a resident of Kokkavila, Chilaw who allege that robbers entered his house when he and his wife were asleep and stole money and goods worth Rs. 1, 58,590 from their house. The thieves had robbed Rs. 1, 50,000 cash and two valuable mobile phones that were in the house. No arrests are made so far, Chilaw Police said.
