| An interfaith Group of Inter
religious Peace Foundation, Dharmasakthi Foundation and
Savumia Youth Foundation representing all religions met
Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Asoka K Kantha at his
office aiming to strengthen the bonds between the two
countries through multi-religious exchange programmes and
dialogue, including visits to inter-religious places of
worship in India especially Tamil Nadu. The interfaith group
was headed by Ven.Pandit Madamagamma Assaji Thera,
Ven.Palekanada Rathanasara Thera, Ven.Galagama Damiswara
Threra, Ven .Talegoda Ratanasara Thera, Dharamaraja
Kurrukkal, M.Makkarine and SP Anthonymuthu. |

| Bak Maha Vasanthaya, a musical show
to mark Sinhala and Hindu New Year presented by music and
dancing teachers in the Colombo Education Zone and organised
by the Zonal Director of Education Jayantha Nanayakkara was
