Union Bank Punchi Pathum Art Competition commences
Union Bank launched the 2nd phase of the Punchi Pathum Art
Competition commencing from April 01. This initiative is organized by
Union Bank to harness the creative talents of children as well as
inculcate the habit of savings from a young age.
The 1st phase held in Gampaha was a success with the Bank receiving
an over whelming response from many talented young artists.
The art competition is open to all children in the ages of 3-15 years
and participants can select from a choice of topics for their drawings.
Entry coupons can be collected from 10 Union Bank branches in an
around Colombo and suburbs. Participants should open a minor savings
account with any of the following Union Bank branches, Head Office in
Colombo 03, Kollupitiya, Wellawatte, Moratuwa, Panadura, Nawala,
Nugegoda, Piliyandala, Kotahena and Wattala. The competition is open to
both new and existing Punch Pathum and minor savings account holders of
Union Bank.
Entries for the competition should reach Union Bank by May 31.
Union Bank's "Punchi Pathum" is a unique children's savings account
for children, allowing the flexibility to withdraw money in several
stages for necessities of children as and when they arise before the
child reaches 18 years and in addition pays an attractive interest rate
