Nipuna steers Narammala SC

Right arm leg spinner Nipuna Ranasinghe had a match bag of 12 for 93
(8/52 and 4/41) and a solid knock of 98 runs by Senaka Gunatilleke
helped Narammala Sports Club to defeat Kelaniya Sports Club by 185 runs
in their inter-club Sara Trophy Tournament cricket match worked off at
Ibbagamuwa. Taking the first lease homesters were all out for 193 runs
with Danushka Sandaruwan making the top score of 64 runs. In reply
visitors collapsed for 130 runs and in their second essay Narammala lads
declared at 256 for 6 including an unbeaten 51 from Rangana Udaya
Kumara. Y. Kuruwita was the most successful bowler for Kelaniya with 4
for 17.
Set to make 320 runs for an outright victory Kelaniya Sports Club
were dismissed for a paltry 144 runs and M. Hafiz totalling 46 runs.
