Kolompure at Sakariyas Hall

Kolompure, the latest comedian produced by Priyantha Ranjan and scripted by Kothmale Senevirathne and Sarath Kulanga will be staged on April 4 at 3.30 pm and 6.30 pm at the Sakariyas Hall in Wennappuwa. Kalani Palama to be staged at Nelum Pokuna

Kalani Palama, directed by R R Samarakoon and produced by Priyantha Ranjan will be staged on April 7 at 7 pm at the Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksa theatre.

The cast includes Ramya Wanigasekera, Sanjeewa Upendra, Prasannajith Abeysooriya, Geetha Kanthi Jayakody, Thilak Kumara Rathnayake, Prasad Sooriyaarachchi, Niluka Rekhani, Kamal Jayakody, Tharanga Bandara, Samson Gomas, R M Abeynayake, Samantha Kumara Gamage, Dimuthu Chinthaka along with Madhani Malwatta and Anusha Dissanayake.

Choreography by Wasantha Wittachchi, Kumara Galahitiyawa and Upul Mahanama, stage management by Priyantha Ranjan and assisted by Anushka Vithanage and Chandima Samarasinghe. Prompting done by Nilanka Sandamali. Lighting by Wasantha Kumara, stage decorations by Lionel Bentharayan and stage equipments by Rohana Hewavitharana.

The movie, 600 Kilos d'or pur(2010) by Éric Besnard will be screened on Tuesday, April 2 at 3pm and Wednesday, April 3 at 6.30pm at Alliance Française de Colombo,11,Barnes Place, Colombo 7. A group of adventurers undertakes to make the break-in of a goldmine in the heart of Guyana. But the operation does not occur as envisaged, and, during their escape, their helicopter meet with a catastrophe and were to land in the middle of the jungle. They laid their hands on six hundred kilos of gold...which must now be carried on their backs in a very hostile surroundings. The booty becomes a burden....
