The momentous occasion saw the presence of many distinguished invitees including top corporate heads from the business world.


Asanka Thennakoon, Project Engineer - BAM Green, Mr. Ishanga Mahipala, Director - BAM Green, Mr. Hemantha Munasinghe, Managing Director - BAM Green, Mr. B. A Mahpala, Chairman - BAM Holdings and Harshana Mahipala, Director - BAM Green.

BAM Green is a subsidiary company of BAM Holdings, and is headed by one of the pioneers in the local apparel industry, the founder and chairman of the parent company, B. A. Mahipala. BAM Holdings has been in the apparel industry for over three decades and has a large employee base in 12 diversified subsidiary companies. BAM Holdings started its operations in 1980 and since then, the company has earned an excellent reputation for reliability.

BAM Green is backed by the strength of its parent company, which adheres to a strong environmental policy in all their businesses. The group of companies focus on creating and maintaining a green and bio friendly internal and external environment by protecting and sustaining the natural environment.

During a time that many renewable energy providers were closing down, BAM Green continued its journey and managed to successfully complete twenty five pilot projects which enabled them to cover the domestic and industry sector.

As an answer to the ever rising cost of electricity in the country BAM Green offers solutions and systems that generate clean energy, which results in 100% reduction in their electricity bill and the customer having to pay nothing at all for their use of electricity.
