Four nabbed with vallapatta

Lunugala Police arrested four men with 10 kgs of vallapatta, a plant containing medicinal properties.

Investigations revealed the men had obtained the vallapatta from Udakiruva forest in Lunugala.

They were to be produced before court for violating the Flora and Fauna Act.
