Teen thief arrested

Police arrested a 16-year-old in Thimbirigaspitiya village in Dunhinda, Badulla for stealing a computer and several other items from a house.

The stolen items were also recovered.

The teenager, a pupil of a leading school in Badulla, had broken the lock of a rear window of the house to enter it.

A police dog brought from the Badulla Police Kennel led to the arrest of the teenager, the Police said. Police found the computer and the other objects at a computer repairing centre at the central bus stand in Badulla.
