Watery grave for teacher, three students

A teacher and three students drowned in the sea in Navalady in the Kattankudi police area yesterday.

Eight students and a teacher from Badulla were on a trip to Batticaloa. They had been bathing in the sea when the four had got into difficulty.

The victims were identified as teacher Kanagasabai Pradeban, 40, and the three students Paulraj Paulkanth and Balasubramaniyam Abishan aged 17 and Kanagasabai Utharsan aged 16.
