Green Tea skin care range from Seri

Green Tea is a natural component that has carved a niche of itself and is a natural ingredient that is used in various elements in today’s society, be it as a beverage, added onto varied cuisines, as a remedy or now, even in beauty products.

Seri Naturals recently introduced Greent Tea onto a new range of products after five years of research and unveiled the luxurious Seri GREEN TEA BEAUTY SKIN CARE RANGE in Colombo. The event was attended by the glamorous winner of Seri Miss Sri Lanka Online pageant 2012, Maria Al-Kasas, who is also the official face of the range and the second runner up, Karandza Fernando.

“With over 4000 years of use in China, it is no surprise that Green Tea was found to be healthy and nourishing for the skin and so I’m very excited to introduce this new range from Seri, which is packed with natural antioxidants that repair damaged cells and maintain the skin’s elasticity, giving the face a radiant and more youthful appearance,” Shayana Amarasekere, the Brand Director of Seri Naturals said. Since the company’s inception in 2011, Seri has been infusing fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, natural oils, honey and plant extracts into their products that exhibit the highest standards of quality while maintaining affordability. Ingredients are sourced from Europe, primarily from France.

“In recent decades, scientific discoveries emphasized the benefits of Green Tea and this new range was inspired by the goodness of nature. We unveiled this unique blend, which fights against pre-radicals, bring about anti-inflammatory action which in turn, gives out radiance and fresheness,” Malik Perera, Chief Operating Officer, Seri Naturals acknowledged.

A facial demonstration was conducted by a beautician from the reputed Salon Headmasters, to showcase the range and accurately briefed the attendees on how to use the products. Seri produces its ranges in accordance with EU principles and refrains from using ingredients that is banned in the EU. Seri makes sure to differentiate when it comes to its products and aims to work on exporting its products in the coming future.
