Narammala Sports Club Skipper Chaminda Dissanayake scored an elegant
113 runs which enabled them to beat Seevali Sports Club, Ratnapura by
innings and eight runs in their inter-club division two cricket
tournament match conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket and played at
Sandalankawa.
Visitors batting first collapsed for 122 runs with a fine spell of
bowling of 7 for 37 by Nipuna Ransinghe and in reply homesters ammased
299 runs. Valuable knocks of 55 runs and 42 runs came off the bats of N.
Ranasinghe and S. Madushan respectivley. In reply visitors were all out
for 169 runs with S. Nimantha scoring 42 runs and N. Ranasinghe
capturing 7 for 72 and a match bag of 14 for 109.
