‘Thirteen state institutions not under auditing process’
International Monetary Cooperation and Finance
and Planing Deputy Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama, yesterday said in
Parliament that there are 13 state institutions that do not come
under the auditing process of the Auditor Generals Department.

Party leaders agree on no confidence motion
Party leaders have agreed to take up the
no-confidence motion against Foreign Employment Promotion and
Welfare Minister Dilan Perera on May 07, 2013. The No confidence
motion signed by 14 MPs against Minister Perera for his inability to
move the Foreign Employment Bureau to save the life of Rizana Nafeek
who was beheaded in Saudi Arabia, was handed over to the Secretary
General of Parliament on February 19, 2013.
