A good double by Chamara de Soysa 65 runs and 6 for 28 helped
Sebastanite Cricket Club to beat Police Sports Club on first innings by
84 runs in their inter-club Sara Trophy cricket match worked off at
Bambalapitiya.
Sebastanite cricket electing to bat scored 252 runs and former
Cambrian Pubudu Ranaweera made the top score of 83 runs and associated a
fifth wicket partnership of 130 runs with Chamara de Soysa. Sujan Mayura
claimed 4 for 47 for the homesters. In reply Police Sports Club were all
out for 168 runs and Supun Nirmal scored 56 runs.
In their second essay at stumps visitors were 151 for 3 with Tharaka
Dushantha and Dinesh Paranavithane scoring 37 and unbeaten 54 runs.
