Ganja transporter nabbed

Mundel Police arrested a motorcyclist who was transporting 2 kgs of ganja in a bag on March 18.

The suspect taken into custody is a resident of Madurankuliya, Jinna Watta area in Mundel, Police said. It was revealed that the suspect had been carrying on this illicit trade on a wholesale basis and distributing it secretly for some time, the Police said.

The ganja haul and the suspect are to be produced before court.
