Students rob tourists

Four students who allegedly robbed money and property from tourists viewing the waterfall in Parevitota, Ingiriya, were ordered to be released on Rs 50,000 personal bond each by Horana Magistrate Mahinda Ranasingha.

The suspects aged 15, are students of well-known schools in Ingiriya and Horana. Police found Rs 5,000, two mobile phones, a camera and a wrist watch in the students’ possession.
