Colombo-Mattala luxury bus service launched

The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) commenced a luxury bus service between Colombo Fort and the newly opened Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport on Tuesday.

Five buses from Colombo to Mattala and five buses from Mattala to Colombo will be available each day on the instructions of Transport Minister Kumara Welgama.

Buses starting from 5 am will be in operation until 9 pm. The buses will operate every 90 minutes. The fare for a luxury bus would be Rs 1,175 while semi - luxury buses would charge only Rs 660, the SLTB said.
