Thomians crush Cambrians 62-0

S.Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia claimed a moral boosting win against Prince of Wales College, Moratuwa in their first rugby match for the season thrashing Cambrians by 62 points (seven goals, two tries and a penalty) to nil in their Singer under 20 League segment-two match played at Mount Lavinia yesterday.

The Thomians were dominating through out the match as they had a strong pack and were able to penetrate the opponents defence. At half time S.Thomas’ were leading 24 – nil

The lads from Mount Lavinia accumulated their points through their full back Devin Jayasinghe (three goals, four conversions and a penalty), Asanga Ranasinghe (two tries) Nayanesh Jirasinghe (two tries), Hasaka Senanayake (one try) and Isa Ibrahim (one try). Gamini Indrasena referred.
