Arrested with heroin
The Colombo Division Anti Vice Squad on Sunday
arrested a suspect with 712 grammes of heroin on the Thimbirigasyaya
cross road in Wattala. The 56-year-old suspect, a resident of
Elakanda was handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further
investigations.

Two suspects, including an Army deserter were
nabbed by the Galnewa Police for removing copper were from the
railway signal network along the Awkana Negama section.
