Gurukula Vidyalaya, Kelaniya defeated S. De S. Jayasinghe Vidyalaya, Dehiwala by eight wickets in their inter-school under 19 tournament cricket match played at Dehiwala.

Taking the first lease S. de S. Jayasinghe Vidyalaya were all out for a paltry 76 runs with Jayamal Wanniarachchi claiming 4 for 30 and in reply Gurukula notched up the required score with ease for the loss of two wickets with opener Lisula Lakshan unbeaten on 62 runs.

S. De S. Jayasinghe Vidyalaya: 76 in 19 overs (Supun Jayasanka 20, H.S. Hewanayake 17, Nalin Perera 2/27, Jayamal Wanniarachchi 4/30, Namal Pathum 2/2).
