Police mobile service in Kalmunai

A mobile service of the Kalmunai Police Station was held at the
Tsunami Housing Scheme, Periya, Neelawanai in the Kalmunai DS Division
in Ampara District recently under the Deyata Kirula – 2013 National
Development Exhibition programme.
Applications for National Identity Cards, applications for driving
licenses, applications for passports, police reports etc were
entertained at this mobile service. This mobile service was carried out
for two weeks. Officer-In-Charge of the Police Station, Kalmunai
Jayantha Nanayakara presided over the mobile service.
Kalmunai Municipality Mayor Dr Siraz Meerasahib, Senior Deputy
Inspector General, Eastern Province Poojitha Jayasundara, Deputy
Inspector General of Police, Ampara I. M. Karunaratna and Kalmunai ASP
Gamini Tennekoon participated.
This type of mobile services are being held in all Divisional
Secretariat in the Ampara District. |
