Abans, TRANE-Ingersoll Rand hosts technical session
Abans jointly with TRANE-Ingersoll Rand (USA), manufacturers of the
world’s most popular TRANE Chillers and Air Conditioning systems, hosted
a technical session recently, at the Kingsbury, Colombo on the topic
‘Making the Right Choice when choosing MVAC Solutions’. With the
participation of senior consultants, investors and decision makers it
was a very fruitful event for the entire gathering as TRANE experts
delivered an in-depth presentation on how to select the perfect chiller.
Officials at the technical session |
The distinguished speakers who delivered the key session John Leslie
from, Global Product Specialist for CenTraVac Chillers, TRANE-USA and
Sanjeev Seth, Head of Sales for SAARC countries presented information
and calculations required for the correct application and selection of
MVAC systems, taking into consideration the climate conditions and load
factors to select and operate the best, most efficient chillers. The
presentation of refrigerant R123 and its acceptance globally was
elaborated by John Leslie, explaining the benefits to the customer in
terms of total cost of ownership.
The refrigerant is widely used globally as R123 & it has a minimal,
almost negligible effect on global warming and ozone depletion compared
to other refrigerants. TRANE as a leading manufacturer of chillers are
focused towards Energy efficient-ECO friendly systems.
Further, he enthused about exciting new technologies from TRANE and
when to use VFD centrifugal chiller according to the weather conditions
in Sri Lanka, with an explanation of Lift vs. Load variation.
Sanjeev Seth spoke on the topic TRANE chiller plant control systems
and special services such as Automatic Tube Brushing System and
Adiabatic cooling systems.
TRANE chillers at their core, play a vital role in creating the right
comfort and environment. TRANE chillers not only provide the right
temperature, humidity and ventilation, they also help reduce your cost
of operation, provide energy efficiency and minimize environmental
impact.
The extensive TRANE chiller line includes centrifugal, twin screw and
scroll compressor chillers as well as absorption chillers, ranging in
nominal capacities from 10 to 3,950 tons. TRANE liquid chillers are
relied upon for both comfort and process applications.
TRANE chillers are also certified with ARI Standards and LEEDS
Certification. |
