HDFC Matara branch relocated


HDFC staff officers at the opening of the new premises in Matara.

In view of further extending its expedited bankingservices in a more efficient manner, for its customers, the HDFC Branch in Matara reached to a spacious premises recently, re-located at HGPM building in Kotuwegoda.

The HDFC new branch premises in Matara will boost several exclusive banking facilities to its customers.

The attractive spacious environs at the new premises promisingly encourages customers to make maximum use of its facilities for their housing financial and related banking facilities.

At present, several tailor made loan schemes have been introduced by the bank that include ‘Kedella’ Loan scheme that provides financial facilities upon a guaranty of property and ‘Shrama Udaana’ loan scheme that provides financial assistance based on the EPF as a security.

Besides HDFC also provides an exclusive Gold Loan service as well as an attractive loan service for customers to reconstruct homes and purchase furniture.

The bank has also introduced children's and general saving programmes that offer competitive interest rates and other benefits whilst promoting the latest palm-top banking facility for its customers. The opening ceremony of the new premises of HDFC in Matara was held with the initiative of Nimal J.B. Mamaduwa, General Manager and the CEO of HDFC Bank. Chandra Vidaanagamaachchi, Matara Additional District Secretary, Sosendra Handunge, Mayor of Matara, S. Dissanayake, Chief Operations Officer of the HDFC Bank, Kalinda Gunasekara, Branch Manager of HDFC in Matara, HDFC staff members and a large number of customers were also present at the occasion.


Union Bank relocates in Kandy

Union Bank relocated Kandy branch to a new premises at D.S, Senanayake Veediya recently.

The new premises were ceremonially opened by Mahendra Ratwatte, Mayor of Kandy and Asoka de Silva, Deputy Chairman of Union Bank.

The new location provides customers even greater convenience with spacious banking area, and an improved ambience supported by state of the technology and an unparallel service.

Conveniently and centrally located within the Kandy business area it provides easy access for all residents in the area.

Union Bank has taken the initiative to ensure the growth of the Small and Medium Enterprises, remaining flexible to their needs.

Batticaloa BOC celebrates women’s Day

To commemorate International Women’s Day, the Bank of Ceylon super grade branch Batticaloa provided loans to sixteen females for self employment and improvement of livelihood activities for low income families in the Batticaloa district recently.

All new Kantha Ran Ginum account holders and those who had similar saving accounts were presented with literature pertaining to needle craft, tailoring , sewing and handloom, cooking, horticulture and self employment programme. The function was presided by the Manager Batticaloa Bank of Ceylon, N. Aruljothy, Assistant Librarian Eastern University of Sri Lanka Thavamany Arunanthi was the chief guest. District manager J. Prabagaran, Art of living representative, K.Yogarasa, Assistant Manager K.Samithamby and staff of the bank and customers were present at the ceremony.



 


SL Insurance opens at Katunayake FTZ

Sri Lanka Insurance extended it’s branch network to Katunayake free trade zone recently.

The New branch is equipped with modern technology to meet the requirement of the free trade zone.

The branch was ceremoniously opened by Managing Director /CEO, Sri Lanka Insurance, Mohan De Alwis in the presence of the three chief officers of the company , Suresh Paranavithana, Life, Viyani Gunathilake, Administration, Ainesly J Alles, General.

The senior management of the Sri Lanka Insurance was also present at the event.
